I live in central Kansas by my own choice. I am gay. I have seen a lot of changes over the years concerning the attitudes of rural Kansas folk when it comes to the gay issue. Eventhough my friends from out of state think my living here is a mistake, I feel it is not. I am comfortable with who I am and I am well-liked eventhough it is fairly common knowledge that I am gay and I work in a very conservative community. I feel blessed that things have worked out very well for me so far in this journey of life. I think most people find my sense of humor (very warped as it may be) one of my best qualities. I make people laugh at work. I have been in one very LTR which ended some time back. I have not dated since then although I am completly over that.

Interests
My interests are varied and becoming more so all the time. My family is very important to me, so I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I really like to workout and am starting to train again for triathlons which I used to do. So a lot of running, biking and swimming. I love to go to movies and try to at least once a week or so. I am a Big Brother in BigBrothers/BigSisters. I have the coolest little brother who is now 11. We always have a great time when we get together. My friends are also very important to me and I try to spend as much time with them as I can. I don't limit myself to just gay freinds, in fact, most of my friends are straight and that's cool. After all, this is rural Kansas;)
Music
My music taste is all over the place. My last 2 CDs were Fergie and old Loretta Lynn from the 60's. I like Nelly and MNM as much as I do Patsy Cline. I really like stuff like Blue Monday by Orgie and Jetboy, Jetgirl by Elton Metello if anyone's heard of them:)
