I know i just posted this before....but now i need everyone to respond....
My sister is 15. Our parents are divorced but still remain on contact about her. I live out of state, and im not around her all the time to see what actually goes on. I recently came to NY to visit my mom and her, and shes been terrible. She admitted to me that she smokes, drinks and that she is sexually active with her boyfriend. The other day, when we getting in the pool, i saw a hickey on her stomach. My mother asks her to come home right after school, but she insists on going to her boyfriends house, then my mom has to go get her at 9 or so at night. She doesnt listen, she disrespects her parents, and pretty soon, school will be out, and then all hell breaks loose. Both our parents work, and that leaves A to run around with her friends doing god knows what. I offered to take her back to Indiana with me, for the summer, but she wont have it. And my mom isnt sure she wants to do that. What other options do we have at this point? Nothing seems to be working. Grounding, privledges....taken away....nothing helps. Its gotten to the point where she does what she wants. My mother is a single mother, works 2 jobs and doesnt have alot of time, but its getting to the point where im scared for A's safety. My mom had me when she was 15 (im 21 now) and i dont want my sister to end up like that. But it looks to me like shes on her way there. What other options do we have right at this point? Is making her come to Indiana with me the best choice right now? No friends and nothing for her to get into trouble with....
Im home all day, so i would be able to spend all the time in the world with her.
She would be supervised 100% of the time....and our parents dont like this too much....
and my sister and i are close, thats how i know all this about her....
What the hell should i do? Im at a lose.
