Introduction & General TidbitsI believe in questioning. Questioning what?, you may ask? Why, questioning EVERYthing of course.Mashed potatoes are the best food ever!!Uh huh, I like to eat and cook as well so that kinda works out, eh. I'll never understand the ppl who can never be skinny enough. Seconds? Yes plz.Laughter is indeed the best medicine. Of course many don't understand what it is that I find so funny most of the time...umm I can be kinda dark and jaded...but hey w/e I'm still enjoying something...I was voted ''most unique'' in HS so very long ago...yet another way for them to say that they didn't know what to think about me. I'm only different because you are all the same...I love the rain, the smell of it, the feel of it, the taste of it, the darkened sky swollen with the promise of things to come. To watch the play of lightening dancing across the sky and to curl up next to the window and listen to the moist wind moving the chimes around as the trees bow their boughs to the awesome power of our home.My favorite smell other than rain? Coffee - mmmm yummy. It's also great for clearing out your ''smell palette'' when you're sniffing various oils and such.I've been to Germany, Austria, the Bahamas and all through the land locked states. My passport and camera are begging for more. Though, why ppl want to live in NYC I'll never understand. It's sensory overload for me, but I suppose I'm too much of a country gal @ heart.Puddles are for splashing in.A world without singing is a sad one indeed. It's hard to shut me up, hehe. I've sadly been neglecting my other instruments though, ah such is the quandry of time and how to squish 10 million things into 24 hrs.The stars and moon...how can ppl really believe that we are alone in all the vastness? That truly is a lonesome thought. Vain? perchance. Twinkle twinkle little star...our sun is just one of those.Send me into the movie store and more likely than not I'll come out with horror. So none of this pansy "turn on a light" or "now I can't sleep" shit...you're warned. But come on hollywood...can't you do better?Long skirts are meant to be twirled in. WWweeeee!!!Many thanks to whomever made glitter (hmm great mother earth whom made micah?).Bare earth is best walked upon with bare feet.~*Just a few things about me/things that I think/feel...if you're interested in knowing more you are welcome to ask. I'm fairly open and start along the rambling path of tangents quite easily.~*:::Current Events:::*~Presently I am yet again ''continuing my education''. This will be my 7th time back, the fourth ''instituition of higher learning'' and shit no Bachelors yet. UGH. Wish me luck ppl I need it. I feel old having classes with these 17 yr olds. I'm still not completely decided on what to major in and that's a big problem...cause umm...those are the only classes I have left -- major specific ones. ~*sigh*~The past couple yrs I've worked as a Habilitation/Med Technician in a group home (for mentally retarded adults), starting back with school again I've just went PRN. I'd miss my guys if I quit. Before that I spent 4 yrs in the army. Me? Crazy? Haha. Oh well I was married too, guess that answers the crazy question. Yay divorce!!!So school...yeah...uh huh...I just want to make more than 8.75 for the rest of my life. It's too hard. Is school any easier? Fuck no. It is kicking my big ass. But hopefully it will pay off and I won't regret being this stressed out and broke in the long run.

Interests
First of all, I read. I read alot -- it's one of my greatest escapes. I mostly stick with ''fantasy'' related stuff. There are too many names on my book shelves to list but here are a couple noteworthy favorites. Oh here..it's kind of fluff but but I can't help but to love her. Blood/pain/sarcasm/dark humour/faeries/witches/vampires/were-animals/strong heroine/sex sex and more sseexx. Lovely to curl up at the end of the day with. ~*grins*~ Clicking on the little fanged ducky will take you to Laurell K. Hamilton's official fan site where you can buy a little fanged ducky of your own. Also if you don't know who Brian Froud is then..then...OMG. Labyrinth and Dark Crystal are two of my all-time favorite movies and he helped to conceptualize them...and a whole lot more, the man is awesome, and so is his wife. Dance majik dance!!! ~*clicking on his name OR the Labyrinth pic above, will take you to his official site (but there are also some really cool fan sites out there too)*~ Music also plays a substantial role in helping to keep me sane. I sing and ''play with'' a few different instruments. I don't spend enough time on any one thing to allow myself to become very good. I took yrs of piano, but umm don't ask me to play more than heart and soul now! I took one yr of classical violin, but mostly I've played ''fiddle'' with friends. You might knock bluegrass but the festivals are ssooo much fun! I've taught myself some guitar, I got the instrument just to have something portable (I sure can't carry that piano around, haha...and the violin isn't really something you can easily play and sing with at the same time) to accompany my singing. Ssooo I can only strum a few basic chords. I also play around with some wind instruments and w/e I can get my hands on. As for listening to music? Most anything, I am more fond of older stuff than newer truthfully, and I love world music. Some favorites of mine are Garmarna, Greg Brown, John Prine, Kate Wolf, James Taylor, Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Suzanne Vega, 3 Dog Night, The Chieftains, Harry Nilson's The Point, Joni Mitchell, Cranberries, Beatles (of course), Cyndi Lauper, Aimee Mann, older Robert Palmer (sneaking sally through the alley), U2, Boot, Poe, Bob Dylan (and his son in The Wallflowers), Tom Petty (best concert I've ever been too), The Cure, Billie Holiday, NIN, India Arie, Lauryn Hill, Loreena McKennitt, Tracy Chapman, Sade, The Rolling Stones, Cake, Natalie Merchant, Van Morrison, Type O Negative, Manson, Enya, REM, Sarah McLahlan, Tori Amos, Baka Beyond, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Annie Lennox, Huey Lewis and The News, Gwen Steffani, Janis Joplin, The Cars, Talking Heads, Steve Miller Band, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, CCR, Loudon Wainwright, Phoebe Snow, Jefferson Airplane...and the list goes on and on.... If you can't tell from above...I'm prone to start projects and never get around to finishing them. There are just too many things I want to try that I can't find the time to do them all! Stained glass, tie-dye, crotchet, knit, drawing, painting, playing spades, hiking, swimming, writing, playing with my god-children, taking pictures, playing board/card/dice/etc. games, yoga, pilates, horse-back riding, rafting, dancing (all kinds! damn I'm overdue for a contra), karaoke, making candles (and burning them of course)...are just a few things I enjoy. Yup, I'm a faery gurl. Vamps and faeries mmmmm. More pretty faery pics following. Sssooo just some pretty baubles to share. =) Thank you for stopping by. ~~*~~*~~*Merry meet*~~*~~*~~ ~~*~~*~~*Merry part*~~*~~*~~ ~~*~~*~~*Merry meet again*~~*~~*~~
