I must say I talk a lot, because it's so rare to have someone around to listen. I love to learn. About lots of things. I find many things interesting that most people don't think are interesting, and I'll ask questions that may seem random, but really, I'm just curious and not trying to be superficial to generate conversation. Small things make me happy, and I'm a little kid at heart. I love Disneyland. =)

I am hopelessly in love with the computer. I can vividly remember in 9th grade getting grounded off the computer for a month and then only being allowed on for 20 minutes at a time after that for a long time because I cried to my mom that my internet friends were so much better friends that my real friends, they understood. Eek. I'm not that bad anymore... but it still kinda makes me feel weird.

As much as I love the outdoors and such, I couldn't live without a computer. I'd probably have to like live in Yosemite and then have wireless internet or something like that. Teheh. Anyway, back to the computer, and outdoors. I love national parks, I enjoy being outside and being able to see the stars, since it's rather hard to see anything clearly in Los Angeles... oy! I'm not the type of person to go "Tallyho!" and run off and scale Half Dome... but I'm not the bratty child who brings their laptop to the fricken national park to watch a movie. (We had people next to us at Curry Village do that. I wanted to whack them over the head with my water bottle.)

I love camping and hiking and outdoorsyness, I love to take pictures of nature and just be in it. I must admit I don't like being cold, but I love to see snow and stuff like that. I'm also not too fond of humidity and ickyness, but it's okay. I like watching thunderstorms, it's so exciting to see lightning. Is it sad that I had to take a while to decide whether I wanted to put on "I'd rather be camping" or "I'd rather be hiking" as my license plate holder from Sport Chalet? ;) I love to just wander around REI playing with things.

However, I have too much of an obsession with the computer to give it up. I enjoy movies, music, food food food (did I mention food?), and many other random things that everyone else likes. I'm easily amused too... I like shiny things, and soft fuzzy things. (I have been likened to the comic strip Sluggy's character Kiki...it's true.) And as you can see, I'm random, and like to talk a lot. Sometimes you'd never know that I talk this much, but when I get online or if I become friends with someone, I just talk their ear off and go around on tangents.

I also enjoy mythology, most history in general (especially medieval and roman, and "the old west"), fantasy books, sour gummy bears, and just learning about things. Chances are, I'll be interested in learning something about most anything. I like Fluffy the three-headed dog from Harry Potter. Let's see. I love Disneyland! I like watching Disney movies, especially Robin Hood, 101 Dalmatians, and Lion King, and for some reason I really dislike the Little Mermaid. I enjoy oldies, and I like the Beach Boys. ;) Food makes me happy, and luckily my metabolism hasn't given up on me yet (knock on wood!).

I don't understand politics. At all.

I like Latin, and I miss the Latin Conventions. ;) I love air hockey and ping pong, even though I stink at both. I like animals, especially dogs, but I'm allergic to them. I really really really miss having a dog. = I really had fun rafting on the Kern River, minus the part where I had a fight with a rock. (If you want to see a gross bruise picture, by all means, ask. =P)
