| OK here's the deal. My boyfriend has a son that is 1.5 yrs old so he doesn't talk very well yet, and we are raising him and his 3 yr old sister since their deadbeat mom is in jail, anyway, his son has started calling me mom, I have been correcting him and repeating my name so he knows it. It doesn't bother me that he calls me mom, but is it right? Should I be correcting him or should I just go with the flow? I love these children with everything in me but I just am not sure if I should allow him to call me mom. When I talk about them I claim them as if I was the one who gave them life, but will it confuse them more later if I just sit and do nothing? please, any and all advise will be helpful.. thanks.. muahh.. |
