Okay, so here's the deal with me. I was here when this place was still Cherry Tap and I was pretty active until 2 days before Christmas of 2009. But then I had a car accident and broke my back and was told I would never walk again so I deleted my profile because I fell into SEVERE depression. I had no interest in being here or on MySpace or Facebook and had pretty much abandoned the internet all together because I figured who would ever want a mangled girl in a wheelchair??? Right??? But then this past summer I went though 3 surgeries that were all deemed to be successful and I learned to walk again. I'm still pretty clumsy and have LOTS of bouts of needing to be helped along when I tweak a nerve and suddenly my lower legs just decide not to work for a few hours. But I've come SO FAR in 14 months. From being told my life would be forever lived in a wheelchair to walking again on my own is the fight of a lifetime but I've done it thus far and I have no plans of giving up anytime soon.
