I'm what I consider an average person. I work, I come home, I hang with friends and my boyfriend. I try to do the right thing, pay my bills, don't cheat on my taxes, and am loyal to my close friends and family. Regular stuff. I take care of my 95 year old grandmother. My boyfriend and I moved in to her house to care for her, and remodeled the basement about 80% ourselves. I work for myself, running a housekeeping business and an Affiliate Marketing program on and off the internet. I'm planning to be retired by the end of 2008 with my affiliate business because I certainly can't clean houses forever. I plant a garden every year and grow all sorts of things including tomatoes, corn, carrots, pumpkins, snap peas, cucumber, celery, onions (walla wallas, mmmm) squash, and whatever new thing strikes my fancy for the year. I also have cherry and pear trees, strawberry and raspberry plants. I like to write fiction, mostly fantasy but some scifi. I'm not planning to be publis

I never thought in a million years my worse nightmare would happen. I have lived in southeastern Michigan my entire life. I am retired after 30 years of public service. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Wayne State University in Detroit. After teaching for several years, I went on to work in other areas of public service. I ended up retiring after 30 years plus years. I have a 37 year old daughter who gave me a 9 year old grandson. I'm REALLY not one for talking about myself all that much, but I'll do what I can. Yes, my name's actually Ashlar. I'm a professional slacker and die-hard geek that enjoys moonlit walks, public executions and mocking the establishment. I was born a poor black sharecropper that went from rags, to riches, to rags again. I'm not easy to get to know, even more difficult to get a hold of sometimes, and no matter what any IQ test says often times have the attention span of a carrot. Although I get sucked into watching the occasional Lifetime movie I detest drama of any kind.
