Hey there! I recently moved to Portland from San Antonio, TX after 16 years in the U.S. Air Force. So far, I have been impressed by the much vaunted Maine hospitality and am finally getting a chance to settle in a bit. I visited here on several occasions before and found a love for this area. My family is originally from CT, so I'm very familiar with the New England area and lifestyle. 
My friends would probably describe me as fun, social, grounded and responsible (but definitely not boring), loyal, generous (almost to a fault), and occasionally funny. While my demeanor may be easy-going, I am driven and like to take on new challenges. 
I have been very fortunate to have a job that I loved, which has allowed me to see more of the world than I had ever expected, including some exotic locales I couldn't find on the map before arriving. I guess I'd have to say that my favorite vacation spot is the East coast of Australia, although snowboarding at Whistler is a close second. H
